[heathkit] MT-1 and MR-1 Manuals WANTED

I'm trying to find someone who can help you, but this is the
first I've heard of quality problems from Don.  I'd be interested
in some other folks experiences, to provide a collection of problems (or good)
encountered by others.  I am sorry that he produced less than a quality
product for you.  I was wondering if you complained to him, and what his
response was.  That is one reason that a pdf file is so nice, as you can
print them out as large as you like, you just have to tape them together.
(I have taken an 8.5" x 11 page, and blown it up to 60 x 72 inches in size
from the pdf file.  anyway, I am sorry to hear of substandard quality.
In another aspect, I was wondering what the manualman might be able to provide?

Good Luck Sandy, I guess if someone would sell a manual on ebay might be
a better way to purchase.

Hi, Van!

Oh, I know about Don Peterson, all right?bought his SB-102 manual copy for $36.00.

What I received was collated pages and schematics reduced to fit onto 11x14 copy paper (which made them almost unreadable). No cover page, not even an attempt at stapling or binding anything.

Here he is, owning all the Heath Legacy manual copyrights, and he?s just interested in every last damned penny he can tweak from unsuspecting hams ? he got my $36 all right! And, he?s happy as he can be that he?s scared off all other manual printers with his threats of copyright infringement.

What that translates to is that he?s a major jerk (and that, Van, is faint praise?).

Hi, everyone!

I?m in the process of restoring a MT-1/MR-1 pair and, while I?ve been able to download partials for the sake of alignment (thank goodness!), I am REALLY looking for two original manuals with schematics and foldouts so my setup will be complete.

If ANYONE has these and would be willing to sell them to am appreciative Heathkit mini-collector (me?), please contact me offline.

I?d surely appreciate it!!!!
