[heathkit] Frequency jumping

Hi Alan

I use Electrolube Contact Lubricant which is both a cleaner and lubricator but apply it sparingly.

My last tin of freezer spray was an own branded RS Components product and not sure if they have a presence in USA.

However, most of my electronic and service parts come from a UK company called Farnell Electronic Components and I understand that they have a USA outlet called Newark. They are a commercial company that take credit card orders via the phone or internet from private individuals and have a wide range of products and good prices, particularly if you buy at or above the first quantity break for semiconductors and small components. The UK end has a technical department but they are not geared up to deal with ham radio issues. Having said that I have used them for many years with no complaints. They are BS/ISO 9000 registered so everything that they handle is traceable unlike some "amateur" businesses.

Take a look at http://www.newark.com/ but not sure how their prices compare to other outlets in USA.

I have no financial interest in this company - just like their good service.
