[heathkit] Frequency jumping

I started using my DX-60,HG-10 and HR-10 RX tonight again and tried to
work a K4 on 80.

He told me that my frequency was all over the place.

I confirmed that on my RX and found that the band switch can cause it to
jump.

Just now, I listened to the VFO alone on 40 and I can hear it
independently jumping from one note to another, back and forth roughly
15 to 30 seconds apart.

Where should I start looking?

Sagging voltages?

Man I wish I had a 100 Mhz scope. You can tell so much with them.

All I have is a DVM.

An analog meter would tell me more.

73,

Alan
