I'm taking a closer look at the WC3K PTT mod and I'm not seeing where it
moves the HV from the function switch. I thought this was one of the
benefits of this mod.

From the looks of things, all I really need is a SPST switch to manually
throw the HV. This is a fix until I find a replacement switch.

Am I missing something here?
