[heathkit] Heathkit H-8/H-89 Question.

Hello,

Was wondering how many H-8's and H-89's are out there still? 

I have one of each. The H-8 I built myself and the H-89 was sold to me
really cheap ($25) about 5-10 years ago (before these things started getting
expensive on ebay). Both are operational, although I remember smoking the
12v rectifiers last time I messed with it (need to fix that). 

Are the folks that have these things still playing with them or are they
sitting in the closet (like mine are currently)?

Yes, I am sick. Don't know why these old things are so much more fun than
using the latest and greatest OS from Mr. Gates or Mr. Torvalds. Hopefully
there will be a 12 step program soon ;^)
